Hello George,

It's a small but select group - but there are companies which offer insurance for the over 70s: http://www.money.co.uk/mortgages/mortgages-for-over-70s.htm

There are even a couple which will work with people in their eighties.

Hope this helps,

I'm a bit confused by the hyperlink as the lenders showing won't lend to over 75s. George it is only a couple of the smaller building societies that would entertain this. They will offer a maximum of 3 times your income.
