Do you always need a deposit?

by , 9 Jul 2012

Me and my partner are looking to take out a mortgage on a house, we have previously rented houses but would now like to move up the property ladder. We was just wondering if you always needed a deposit we also don't have a very good credit history as we are still young and have a young child.

Unfortunatly there are no 100% mortgages available at present, if you want to purchase a property you will need a deposit of at least 10% of the property worth.
