my dad has a golf and i want to be the second driver does any one know here i can get a cheap car insurance and i am 17 year old.

I may be wrong, but I don't think it's possible to have two different people insuring the same car under different policies like you appear to suggest.
To be perfectly honest, 'cheap' car insurance just doesn't exist for 17 year olds, sad to say.

You could ask your father if he's willing to have you as a named driver on his policy.
