Look for a better deal elsewhere :)

Once you find a better deal, ring them and ask if they can match or better. I'm sure you can get a better deal unless you live in the back of beyond and have restricted access to other providers

Do as Jazzj says and persist in getting a better offer from BT. They will budge if you are prepared to go elsewhere.
