I am having a problem getting a credit card, its not that i have bad credit, it's that i have no credit history. any suggestions?

Can you suggest one that will accept me to get my foot on the ladder to getting a credit history?

Not the cheapest ... but of you clear off your balance every month then it shouldn't matter what they are charging.

Also, have you checked whether you are on the electoral register? As not being on it can also lead to a low credit score.
