i recently tried and got a confirmation email of payment, then they sent me a text at 5:30am the morning it was to be dilivered saying to confirm before 6:30am or it would be cancelled, i was asleep and i didnt have credit anyway! what do they exspect you to do?? this is why i did it online!! ARGHHHH!
ive shopped at both asda and tesco a number of times never had a text of either to confirm delivery had a text giving me a time afew hrs before saying they would be delivering between (for example) 11.40 and 12.40
I use Tesco online and have never had that, what a pain!!! Hope you complained..........?
Check your receipt and confirmation if you use Asda. My prices changed overnight and when I checked the 'price check' two days later it said I'd been charged the lower amount and not the higher they had actually charged...
No experience of Asda, but have shopped with Tesco online and never had that problem. Call their head office and complain.

Yes i complained, they had given me subsitutes for things they didnt have in stock, that costed more. They are suposed to give you it for the same price if its a subsitute. In total it was ?23.00 more than what i ordered. which i didnt have in my bank so it was cancelled. I then had to wait until monday as i do not have internet access at home! i then did it again and they took the whole amount of money taking me overdrawn and costing me fees with my bank. they refunded the ?23.00 though and its should be fine, i just dont know weather to do it again as i cant afford it to go wrong!!
Did you use email contact below? I'm surprised you only got the refund, I would've expected some compensation as well. My daughter found a piece of meat in a vegetarian pizza and got a ?20 voucher in compensation which she was rather pleased with!
I prefer the real life to do my shopping routine but my sister does lots of shopping at Asda online. Not sure about the confirmation messages but she's pleased and never complained.
