How much should I pay a month if I would like to retire at 65 ideally and get the best for my investment.

It will depend on how old you are now, how much you are earning, how much you have available to spend and what level of income you would like. Without any of that information no one is going to be able to advise you. One person may be happy with ?15K a year to live on happily, someone else may think that woefully insufficient, someone else may think it luxury.
