I would like to set up an isa with ING Direct. Will my money be protected if the bank goes under?

Hi JennyMilne, and welcome to the forum.

ING Direct is Dutch, so you will not be protected by the UK FSCS, but by the Dutch Central Bank's Deposit Guarantee Scheme. It's up to you whether you're happy with that, but do bear in mind what happened with the Icelandic banks.
