Is the online booking fee the same as the administration fee?
Its absolutely ridiculous how Ryanair try to confuse passengers with their booking system.
What has happened to their personal login - it seems it doesnt exist anymore.
The ryanair card costs ?6 but apparently you can avoid the administration fee with it but what exactly is the admin fee - is it the online book fee and what is the charge for using credit cards?
Holidays are getting dearer and dearer - soon we will be back to the old days with only the rich being able to afford to go!
I am with you - I ploughed through their small print but didnt find anything about the admin fee only being when you book outwith ryanair.com and I work in I.T..
Maybe I was just tried then again probably just another fiddle.
You pays for what you get - uncomfortable seats , overpriced drinks and meals ~(if you can call them that) - cant believe people actually buy that coffee and assorted muck!
eeewwww
Yes I see they now have a ?6 card but I guess it pays for itself after a while if you use Ryanair a lot - I thought though the cards were a way of airlines getting round certain rules on charging but yet they charge for the card which wasnt so for old Solo cards , then it was prepaid like Caxton and now it Ryanairs own card.
Wont be long before they charge 3 for a pee and 2 for a poo!
Omen, Ryanair have made it confusing in the hope that they can catch you out and charge you more! :-)
They have separate charges for the booking fee and the admin fee...but if you book through www.ryanair.com, you are only charged the admin fee, as the booking fee only applies if you book through an airport or call centre. No admin fee is charged if you pay by a Ryanair Cash Passport. Nor is it charged if you pay by a Mastercard prepaid card (unless you're booking a flight originating in the UK or Italy)...with me so far...?!
Ok...don't take an infant (?20 each way), any equipment for an infant (?10 each way), any sports equipment (?50 each way), any musical instruments (?50 each way), any baggage larger than a spotted hanky tied to a stick...no, forget the stick, they'll charge it as sports equipment, at another ?50 each way!! :-)
Oh, and the Ryanair Cash Passport costs you ?6!
And the fee for my advice and help is ?1,000,000...just make the cheque out to 'Fruitcake O'Leary'. Who knows, I might even send you a 'Personal Login'...
Ps why don't you just fly with a different airline?! :-)
Master Prepaid card is now gone as well....
No, it still applies, except when booking flights originating from the UK and Italy.
I'm sure Mr O'Leary has contemplated charging for use of the loo!

* Easyjet have scrapped the ?8 booking fee applied if you paid for flights with any card except Visa Electron. They'll now charge a flat fee of ?9 on all bookings irrespective of the card you use plus an extra 2.5% fee for credit cards - their answer to the ban on excessive surcharges!?!
