Hi,

There's no problem so long as your employer agrees to it and your savings account accepts it.

Do you mind if I ask you why you have filed the question under repaying debt?

Hi rocketronnie, and welcome to the forum.

Like G-Man, I too am wondering why you put your question under repaying debt. I wondered (and please forgive me if I'm totally wrong here!) if you were thinking along the lines of trying to avoid paying debts by having your salary paid into a savings account?

If you are, then I really wouldn't advise it. If you are struggling with debts, as so many people are these days, then I would strongly advise you to contact the Citizens Advice Bureau. The CAB have trained advisers who can advise and help you. Their advice and help is free.

Once again, please forgive me if I'm making a wrong guess here.
