Flat insurance for homes with flat roofs!

Seems to be quite a few companies wont insure you if you have a flat with a felt on timber etc flat roof.
Anyone know if there are any decent ones who dont charge the earth?
Looks like I may have to finally bite the bullet and get Buildings insurance after 20 years of not having any at all.
