Exacerbations of scalp psoraises can be painful, and I would like to get a suitable grooming product as a gift for combing long straight thick hair to give to some one who I know has to leave off combing when scalp very sore.
Hi instinct, a good detangling comb could be the answer. They have wide spaced blunt teeth, like this Avon one on eBay...

Or this Denman one, which is very quality but expensive...

I actually use one like the Avon one all the time, as fine sharp teeth combs won't go through my long thick hair when it's wet.
Oh how miserable! One of my children used to get terrible eczema in her hair, so I do sympathise. Hope the wide tooth comb fruitcake suggests work, its the best thing I found. In fact, now my son has long curly hair its all he uses!

If you zoom the picture, you can see how rounded the ends are.
Apreciate your responses to my quest fruitcake, very good info, have sent for massage brush from your denman link.
You're welcome, instinct, glad you found something suitable. :-)
