Personally, I find it unhealthy and sad beyond words for people to fight their way through the doors and shop aisles. I am very much a mild sales hunter if that and prepared to wait until New Year.
I hate going to the sales personally as usually if it's clothing it's already been there before Christmas. I suppose if you want a large item and it's hundreds of pounds cheaper it will be worth your wile to stand for hours to get it.
I find it unbelievable to see all those people fighting and charging through department stores buying everything in sight just for the sake of saying they have got a bargain. There begs the question have they got a bargain or is just a whim. If it's a whim they will have probably spent money they haven't got and probably realise the fact when the credit bill comes through. Each to their own I suppose but for me it's a definite NO.
Hi CS, I'm not one at all, I hate shopping at any time! :-)
So far I have bought one thing in the sales and I got it online... much better than being pushed and shoved and feeling overly stressed on the busy highstreet.
I really don't enjoy shopping at any time (I buy most of my stuff on line), and the idea of being pushed around in a shop in sales time is unappealing to say the least! I'm not very tall, and all I can see is people's backs. The sales are mainly tack they couldn't dell at full price, so why would anyone want it now? Does it suddenly become less tacky when its cheaper.....?
