I have a 9 yr old son and we want to open a bank account for him. We would like a savings account that has instant access.

We would also like internet access so he can see his savings adding up to encourage him to save. can not find one with internet access on ajunior account. do they exist?

Hi justins52, and welcome to the forum.
Good idea, but sadly, there doesn't seem to be a children's account with internet access available until the child is at least 11 years old.
I've been looking for similar, but the only one I've been able to find (my children are older) is Santander on the proviso that I move my current account there too. Bearing in mind their reported customer service levels I've decided not to proceed
They do Fruitcake, I've never experienced their customer service first hand, but having been burnt badly by the HSBC I'm not willing to risk dodgy service again!

Why not just open it in your name first , then move it out when suitable. Just show him the statements and explain the difficulty.
