Hi EmmaMarie,

They have them for $2.99 at Maplin. They're a little fiddly to set, but once set are fine. You can pay more for a digital one. http://www.maplin.co.uk/24-hour-segment-timer-513412

Hi EmmaMarie and welcome to the forum. You can buy one of these from most Supermarkets or somewhere like B & Q or any other electrical shop. They only cost around £3.50 and do a good job. I saw them at B & Q the other week and I couldn't believe how they have come down in price.

Hi, you might also find some in the pound shops (pound land seems to have a large DIY section these days - sealant tubes and stanley knives for £1!). Alternatively, the police in most cities give them out free around this time of year to help discourage burglaries.

Hi, EmmaMarie, we got ours from Homebase and, as Sabre says, they're very reasonably priced.

We always us them to turn lights on and off when we're away, and if your're on Economy 7 electricity you can use then to make appliances come on in the night to save money.
