Hi greidi and welcome to the forum.

I have looked at the site and I see you have to become a member to use their facilities. There is no way that AVG should cost £35 and I can only assume that you will be given a licence code to activate for the reduced cost. I would also imagine that customer support will not be rapid and you may well have to wait 48 hrs for a reply. Failing all of that, and assuming that you have not paid anything to date ( have you? ) then I would simply source the software from a better known source. Please let us know how you get on!

That's bad news greidi .... perhaps you now need to urgently contact your credit card company ( I assume you paid by CC? ), make them aware of the potentially fraudulent situation and ask for advice on your costs being recharged to your account etc. It seems that otherwise your money is lost and it does seem you have been charged for a free 30 day trial! Good luck.

Result ! I went to my bank and told them the whole story and as the transaction had not gone through they would stop it . Cheers for reading folks :)
