Some in a bond, some in an ISA, something that will pay monthly inot my bank account

Are you resident in the UK? I only ask because of the wording of your question. If you are, then I would suggest you have a look at the comparison info for Cash ISAs here...

If you have a look through these, you can check to see which offer monthly interest which you can have paid into your bank account.
