Does anyone spend the extortionate amounts on reading glasses which Opticians tend to charge?

by , 1 year agoOpen Question

I take the prescription after a proper eye test away with me and take my time looking around for a reasonably priced pair. I just round up the strength required according to the prescription if their is a slight variation. I realise this is not adviseable with children or with people who really should have prescription glasses made up, but the price is so prohibitive for some,it must be very difficult.

I have done in the past, however I definitely learnt my lesson and my latest pair I got online. I can recommend glasses direct, who are very efficient and offer a great service at a good price.

You have your prescription so buy online. I have had a very good and quick service from Budgetspex http://www.budgetspex.com/
I had several pairs of existing frames re-lensed with my new prescription for a very low cost. The glasses were returned to me in a couple of days.
