What's a "my money challenge"?

I noticed on the leader board a lot of people have "my money challenge" runner up or winner badges... What are the challenges? I don't think I've ever seen one.

When the site first started it was 'tested' by members - a 'beta testing' and prizes were given to the top 3 on the leaderboard at the end of the challenge/testing period. Runner-up prizes of a cd were given to those from 4th place to 100th place. Since then there has been 'Daily Prize' where the best post of the day won a voucher, but that ended months ago. You were a member back then weren't you? I see you won a Daily Prize and also registered at the very beginning of the site launch.

Thanks windiew. Yep, I got a daily prize, and registered early but wasn't sure what a 'my money' challenge was. It seemed to be different to the beta testing and daily prize awards.
Does seem a bit odd to call it 'my money' challenge, but certainly the runner-up badge I have is from the beta testing, so I can only assume that's what it's about. There's been no other challenges for ages, but then there's only a few people still regularly posting on the site so there wouldn't be many competitors.
Hello miss wendiew - I am new to this site and when I joint this week money.co.uk sent me a welcome page that said I could win £30 for sending a nice question. But today they said they are sorry to announce that the £30 competition has now ended. The link they sent me has been updated to exclude this prize. They thanked me for saying this to them.

Thanks for your comment indogirl. Perhaps the mymoney site are trying to attract new members which is great, I hope you asked a question before the £30 was withdrawn. Good Luck. You can add things to and change your avatar by clicking on your avatar, then click 'change' (just underneath), there are various hats and headbands in the 'Attire' section, Headwear. Hi, The £30 was the daily prize... It ran for a month or so last September (I think).
