Has anyone used an epilator? Are they worth investing in? What are the best ones out there?

They're really, really painful. I got one years ago and only used it a few times because it hurt so much. In principle they're a good idea but I wouldn't recommend it.

Hi we won one this summer, and I for one cannot recommend them, sorry. Stick to other methods, painful and doesn't leave my skin looking good!lol

If you like pain yes give them a go.

I tried two and one was worse than the other - the wire phillips type are agony and the silk-epil roller type isnt as bad but they leave you all blotchy.

The hairs do take a long time to come back which is about the only saving grace.

They hurt!
