My nan has recently been registered blind and has got self conscious about her increase in weight. She would like to continue on her diets but has found it difficult in following one as she cannot read the information concerning the weight loss plan. Does anyone know of any diets that are available in a recorded format or on tape? Otherwise the alternative is myself reading aloud the directions and I have a horrible voice.
I'm sure your Nan thinks your voice is lovely! :-) There are diet audiobooks available on Amazon.
Hello jammiedodgeface since your nan is registered blind I wd get in touch with the RNIB ...HQ is near kings Cross. Jude Street maybe. They provide a service which makes audio tapes/CDs for the life of me I can't remember how it works. I have actually been round the centre and it is very impressive. I think it is called Talking Books. It has been going for many years and has hundreds of titles. It is run by voluntary donations ...can't remember if there is a charge for using it.
It may also be worth a look at www.digitalaudiobooks.co.uk. You can download any digital audiobook for just £3.99. Whilst your Nan would need something like an ipod or similar to listen to them on it would probably be easier for her if she had a more portable device rather than being restricted to a cassette/cd player.

I went to Amazon to begin with, where did you look or find them?
Just go on to Amazon's main page, and type in 'diet audio books' in the 'All Departments' category.
