where can i purchase a cheap fitted kitchen in a comtemporary style?

by , 1 year agoOpen Question

i live in north london, but can travel a bit, homebase prices seem to have risen quite a lot recently. wondering if some of the independents out there are looking for business as would prefer to support the little businesses out there. can anyone make any recommendations?

I'd have a look at Ikea, especially as you have one not too far away.

Go on a weekday if you can - it's hell at weekends!

I've been told that Wickes are good, but I've never used them, so can't personally recommend. Also, check out prices with local independent kitchen suppliers, not always as expensive as you might think. I live in the South West, so can't judge what independents are available in your area.

We've got Wickes units in our utility room. They weren't expensive and we've been pleased with them.

Thanks, Feline123, and useful as I'm considering them myself.

I have used B&Q twice and they are good value /quality. Like you I have looked for a local independent that make kitchens but I expect it might be too competitive for small businesses. There are plenty of kitchen installers though.
