some people could be turned down because there voice is not good enough or size,should they sue or find another job?
If you get interviews but are not offered the job, it's worthwhile asking the company for feedback as to why you weren't successful this time. Then you can correct whatever it is for the next interview.
People need to remember that qualifications aren't everything, and that personality and other lifestyle aspects will have a big impact.
There's nothing worth suing for. Different employers will want different things, and if you're not right for one, you move on and try and find another.
Work experience is probably a safe bet, preferably within an area that you want to work in.
Suing a company because you don't get offered the job is probably not the right attitude to have and you just need to persevere and look at why you are not being chosen over others. Yes employers will consider your overall appearance and attitude when selecting someone for a job and unfortunately if you fall short of the mark in these areas then you are less likely to be considered. However, if you have a good personality and can show that you are willing and able to do the job this can over ride such things like size and the sound of your voice!! I think you need a really good CV if you even want to get your toe in the door so it is worth while spending some time and effort to ensure that your CV stands out.
I spent a lot of my time when I worked at a major blue chip company interviewing people, and please believe me I was always in hope that the next person I interviewed was the right person for the job it is not fun sending out letters of regret, I have had more than a few in my lifetime.You should always ask for feedback, you have taken the time to attend the interview and suffered the nerves so you are entitled to constructive feedback, if you don`t like the feedback and showing you are not willing to accept constructive critism then perhaps you need to observe this as part of your person you need to change. This is of course a choice only you can make. It could also be that the interviewer is looking for some skills that will compliment their teams, all team members have different skills and abilities. In short you need to fit in.I always employed people who were nice to work with, that I thought would be considerate to others, so I rarely had any people issues and thus trying to make the workplace a nicer place to be.The next interview you attend the objective is to make yourself the obvious choice for the job. Have 6 positive strengths that you consider you have and you will find that whatever question is asked of you, you will be able to introduce one of those strengths as a positive answer.Please dont talk about Sueing that`s just bad apples you need to be bigger than the problem you perceive, and get yourself sortedAssuming we are talking about yourself Good Luck
Perhaps they could take on a volunteering role, at least they would be occupied while trying for more work opportunities. Depends on the type of work you had in mind but I am sure you could find some avenue to go down, even doing mock interviews with friends to get more practice.How many jobs have they tried for?
