A change in circumstances warrants cancellation but contract is till march 2011 !!!!!!!
As a former HR professional, I was constantly asked by my then employees for letters, which effectively said that they were losing their jobs in order to get out of their David Lloyd contracts. In some cases and for some staff this was quite clairvoyant of them!! So I wasn't lying!
Depending on what the change is in your personal circumstances this might aid you in cancelling your contract. You will have to explain the situation and then throw yourself at their mercy! It is worth looking in detail at any cancellation clauses in the contract but, if my memory serves me well, they don't have any.
I know someone who got out of theirs by saying they had just been made redundant!
i hade the same problem but all i did was call up my bank and cancel the direct debits and tell them the stuation . thank to my bank they did all the work for me and canceld my davidloyd contract. dont forget if you talk to your bank about your simmilar problems they have loyers working for them for sutuations like this
