I haven't had any benefits yet!
I must have forgotten to update this! I got back the fee I paid the Claim People, but no compensation. If I tried this again I would just do it myself rather than through a company, but it was so much hassle the first time round, I don't think I will.
I personally have not because I have never taken PPI with anyone because it's often an extra expense and when you make a genuine claim the companies are very reluctant to pay out. However, you did not need to hand over your claim to third party promising to claim back your PPI expenses and compensation. In general, if you did NOT ask for PPI and they put it on without your permission and more importantly, you did not sign any documents requesting PPI, you can write to them directly claiming compensation.
If people took the time to read what they are signing ther would be no need to claim back bear in mind the people you sign with get a cut of your money so do it yourself.
Never use a third party to make a claim for PPI,its so straight forward to do yourself, and you dont have to fork out 30% of your claim to them.

It seems to be the latest cash cow for solicitors and the claims industry only one set of people going to make money from this...
I did not sign up for PPI in the first place, and I have tried talking to the company involved but with no joy. I think I am going to give it until Christmas and then demand a refund from the claim company.
