I used to just hunt out free e-cards, but I find many not to my taste. I now pay (a very small amount) an annual fee to have access to http://jacquielawson.com/ and find it answers my needs much better... a bit of a luxury, but the cards are so much better (nicer for the recipient, and better for the environment too)
I only use e-cards for friends/family who live abroad. I've always used free ones, but decent ones are getting much harder to find. I like jimpix.co.uk as theirs are really unusual.
I much prefer to send a real card. I know that E-cards save you money and the environment but personally feel they seem less personal.
Yes I occasionally send one, but I prefer to make, buy send a real physical one, it might be more old fashioned but nicer to put on your mantelpiece and remember who sent each one.
Have sent one once and received one but I like to keep cards and read them years later (special ones that is) - makes me smile :). Although I haven't really got time to be doing this!!
I prefer to send one rather than an e card. Feels more personal. I tend to keep most of the ones i get.
i must admit i used moonpig which was quite nice, its not an ecard but i found that it was worth it and apparenty good quality! :)
I've never sent an e-card, free or paid for, but I have received several. There's some very nice ones from the site you mentioned and they're nice to receive (the christmas interactive one with the dog, in case you know of it) but I really prefer to receive an actual real card through the post, it always feels so much nicer/thoughtful somehow, even though I'm sure sending an e-card must be a thoughtful and time consuming process too. Perhaps it's a traditional, old fashioned thing?!
I sent one once but it was to a relative abroad and a physical card would not have arrived in time. Ordinarily I prefer to send a physical card as it's more personal and the recipient will usually put in display and remember who sent it.
I have only used the free ones. But like most of the others I prefer to give and receive a physical card. However, it can be very handy to use an e card if you are too late to send one, you get some unexpected news, someone is abroad. they have their uses.
Paying for e-cards online is great, but not many people consider it the same for appreciation that's why we kind of stopped sending them on important days. - as well as people not reading their emails on the exact day of their celebration.
We used to use americangreetings.com, but now stick to free hallmark cards.

Thank you, Kyra, for choosing my answer, the jimpix ones are very different from the jacquielawson.com ones, the trendy versus the trad, huh!
