Hot deals uk has several and has Parchester's Etienne Dumont NY Brut (which IS a champagne) and says that it is £10 in Sains tomorrow. On Sains website today it is £13.99 but is the real thing and sounds delish. Great bargain I'd say. So Rosie are you trying to get us all to go to the supermarket so you can bag a daily prize I wonder??? (tease")

Oooops! You guessed my cunning plan - hahaha! Didn't work tho - i can't write when drinking - hiccup!

Check all of the supermarket sites. There is usually at least one champagne on offer at any one time. Check out a tasting review if you can find one. It is usually much better to buy a quality champagne reduced in price than a champagne that is just cheap, but sometimes the supermarkets offer some superb quality own label products (if you don't have any snobby feelings about the label on the bottle). M&S currently has Louis Chaurey Champagne - Case of 6 £135.00 which is ten percent off. It has had very good reviews.

That is good advice

Bought a nice bottle of half price champers at Asda - can't remember the name of it ;/.

I often find Sainsbury's have some good deals on champagne. Recently they were selling an excellent brand of champagne for £10, when it's usual retail price is £29.99 and so I bought a few bottles then and keep them in store for all those surprise special occasions!

I don't know much about chapagne but I wd be very wary abt champers at £10 a bottle. It may not be the real stuff?? Don't man to pour water. The point is it doesn't matter as long as you like it.

More to the point What are you celebrating?

My friend getting the grades she needed to get into Uni, and me starting my course - will be last party for a while. Great advice everyone - thanks.

That's excellent! Good luck to you both. Enjoy the Champers.

It depends on how 'cheap' you want it to be and how many bottles you are after. Tesco have some good offers online at the moment with some cases being 50% off. Besserat de Bellefon Grande Tradition Brut Non Vintage £96 per case (6) or Gauthier Brut Champagne £90 per case. If it is just one bottle you are after and depending on your budget head to one of your local wine shops to see what they may have on special offer.

always check local businesses out! they can have great deals on great champange, also wholesellers. if you are wanting alot its actually worth travelling to france with someone in a van. also supermarkets

marks and spencers have 25% off all wines and champagne at the moment if youbuy six bottles. so you could have a good celebration with that!

Tesco and Morrisons often have promotions running on champagne and wines.

Tesco and sainsbury are good. Cheap champagne isnt always good though. Have your thought about trying asti. Its sweeter and is reasonably priced

by alpha, 1 year ago

I have to disagree with you on asti Alpha - for me it's far too sweet but I love (and can't often afford) champagne. But hey - each to his/her own. Pity my tastes are more expensive than I can afford.....!

I love champagne too. I'd rather not drink cheap wine and then by a nice bottle of champers every now and then.
