That way, you can make money from it again and again (and still use it yourself if you want). Try the Rentnotbuy and Rentrino websites. You can lend out anything from a black tie suit to a TV. If you've got a few rentable items, it could turn into a nice little earner.
You can use this the other way around, which is instead of purchasing items to use very rarely, you could rent the items to help you to keep the costs down.
What kind of answer could I provide to this rather excellent tip?
I am glad you find it an excellent tip :)
It is a good tip but is it a question? That was the point I was trying to make.
Yeah, I know exactly the point that you were trying to make. As if you hadn't made it clear already in all other threads except for the one that you found useful for yourself.
When you are not interested in a thread, the best action is not to reply.
Good idea but remember if its electrical stuff it must be PAT tested before each rental. Testing can work out expensive.
thats very interesting! i do have a dress im unlikely to wear again as it doesnt suit but i doubt id be able to sell it on ebay!
I know! I thought this was a very interesting option. We all have many things that rarely use but that we don't want to sell or give away.
yeah theres quite a few things i'd only rather rent than sell! :)
I think renting would cause more aggro in the long run - say you had a dress and it came back with a mark on it? You would have to pay to have it cleaned out of the money you might have made!
Not sure how practical this would be for me. We live in the countryside and I can see how this works if you are in a town and easy to get to.
