Thanks for spotting that. You can subscribe to petrolprices.com and get an alert so you always know where the cheapest petrol is close to you. Just put in your postcode.

I hope they do they knocked 1p of a litre in the week. I hope it starts a price war and we will all benefit.

If only that became a reality.... I am with you, it would be good for all of us!

Sure would. Wonder why though isn't oil still high?

The price of oil as dropped a little

Yeah, that is good, I had not heard. We travelled to the South West in the weekend and the price of the petrol was definitely cheaper than in London and it was noticeable. Anything would help considering the high price of petrol at the moment.

Wonder why that is?

Yes - it's already dropped today. Asda cut 1p off a litre of petrol, which will now cost no more than 111.9p a litre at its 180 filling stations. The company is also knocking 2p a litre off diesel, which will now be no more than 114.9p a litre.

Yes that is great. It compares well to others still at £1.16 - £1.18. Do you think others will drop?

i think i heard its 1p, but still its good to fill up and save!

1p per litre off ..... not quite 'slashing petrol prices' - but better than nothing I guess. I hope others follow suit as my nearest Asda petrol station is 70 miles away. I'd be far more impressed and pleased if the government would tax the fuel less, that would make a much better difference. (Some hope!!) In my area it's £1.23 for diesel and £1.21 for petrol so I reckon nearly everyone else is saving a fortune already - you lucky people.
