Anyone got any tips on where to buy beauty products online that have good offers?
A comment rather than an answer to your question. When I have looked at buying perfume and other make-up items on-line I have sometimes found that either Superdrug or Boots stores have had matching or better offers, so worth checking. Sorry - I'm not up-to -date with the latest offers but others will be I'm sure.
I buy mine through amazon. I coldn't find my aftershave any cheaper so I went with them. Since then, I've just presumed that they have been the cheapest and so don't bother looking.
Amazon?! That's the last place I would've thought of - thanks, I'll check it out.
Also bear in mind http://www.fragrancescompared.co.uk/ which my friend told me to use. Have never used it, but still, it's worth a look.
Amazon are good! Not a lot of people would think of them for buying fragrances from, but I found them cheap!
Have to say I only know for fragrances.. Sorry, but I can't help you for the make up. Not my area of expertise....
www.cheapsmells.com could also try these
Have you looked at Fragrance direct?
I have a very secret bronzer I use. Used it for ever. Absolutely will die if they ever stop making it. Boots used to sell don't any more. Now only available online by the maker. www.ultraglowshop.co.uk
ultra.glow - Original Pressed Bronzing Powder
Ref: UL-009
NOT the demi matt one. It lasts easily for year or more so it isn't at all expensive. I buy two at a time to save on the postage cost. I have tried Guerlaine, Lancaster Maxfactor and new mineral one nothing like Ultra glow. I don't know why I continue to be seduced by these new products!
Thanks - nothing worse when they stop selling something you've used for ages or discontinue it! Will take a look at both sites, just have to remember to only buy what I need!
Hi Nic, I regularly look for these items online and here are the urls that I have saved. I would particularly recommend to check the sales/clearance sections on these sites.

Also, re Amazon, it is good if you have vouchers as you wouldn't need to spend anything then but their offers are not particularly good for this type of products based on my experience and previous searches (I have several products set with my expenditure limit and I have not been able to find them at good prices yet)
I find that if you are not keen to by things online you can often find brand name items cheaper in semi-chem or in the supermarket.
superdrug sometimes has a amazing deals and department shops can offer good deals on perfumes!
If you have the time, sometimes you can get fantastic deals on the shopping channels, but you do need time to find something you're interested in, though I think if you go to their websites (something I haven't done) I think you can bypass all of this.
I have looked at this regularly recently as I find myself working on the pc at night but I have only seen quite expensive stuff so far. They blind you saying that it is on a very special deal today and bla bla bla but in the end it costs more than what I pay for my own stuff.
Cartainly not in an airport duty free shop. A recent report suggested that these are more expensive than mosthigh street chemists/department stores, which I have to agree with. In fact most airports aim to fleece the holiday maker out of their cash food, drink and all other items are stupidly overpriced.
I think you're definitely right about this - its taking advantage of travellers with spare time or left over holiday money - although I have fallen for it many times!
this is so true, Parchester. The % reduction that shows in the prices make them think that they are getting a good deal when they are not really.
I agree with you Parchester. I was in an airport recently, and was considering buying some make up for my girlfriend. But when I worked out how much it was in Sterling, it was no cheaper than what I have previously paid when purchasing it as a present here in the UK. They definitely aim to capitalise on the fact that most holiday makers are looking to pass time before boarding flights etc.
i like avon and had the book from work a few weeks ago, i went on ebay and found the items i wanted at half price or even less so maybe have a look on there
Thanks, I've seen some items on ebay before but am nervous that not all sellers are listing brand new, still packaged items - guess I just need to ask or only buy from ebay retailers.
I like saveonmakeup.co.uk but a lot depends on if you like any particular brands or are willing to try something new in order to save costs. I personally think that some of the cheaper brands can be better than the more expensive ones who don't always produce a better quality product for the price.
Thanks, I do use a certain brand having tried a few that irritated my skin so not too sure about changing, but will definitely give this a look!
www.cheapsmells.com and you can get cashback through quidco too
Ooh, this is good. I hadn't heard of it.
It all depends on how much you want to spend. You can buy on e-bay but you can`t guarantee it will be genuine. Shopping malls usually have perfume shops that have really good deals and on markets, they have end of lines that are perfect. I buy mine, perfume and make-up from the Asda.
Amazon is good. I also use Yves-Rocher and some of the ones mentioned below. It is also worth checking out ebay. They have alot of new products at reasonable prices.
It depends what perfume you're after but I have bought Chloe perfume on ebay for a really good price. I think the best thing to do is google what you're looking for and see what sites come up. If it looks too good to be true I tend to look for reviews of those sites though to check they aren't going to rip me off! Again, ebay can be great for cheap unused make up.
