but does anyone have a remedy for a dog with a belly ach
Hmmmm.....
Have you tried a vet's website?
lol @ markx have you tried gaviscon?
Pepto-Bismol is good. One Teaspoon per 5 pounds, give it every 6 hours, take up the food, just give some water. Give 1/2 of the food tomorrow morning. If the dog still doesn't want to eat that, then take it up and give some tomorrow late afternoon. If there is no vomiting or diarrhea then you should be ok. But if vomiting occurs within 48 hours of stomach upset, take the dog to a vet. But it's proably just something the dog ate and will get over it within 24 hours
good advice as usual xx
thanks! :)
great advice there again.
thank you :)
brillant.. ! thanks for this advice.
No problem. I hope it is helpful :)
Ask at your local pet supplies store they're bound to have some good advice.
chicken and rice. You should be able to ring the vets for free advice.
How do you know the dog has belly ache? Or is there some physical evidence which leads you to suppose it's tummy aches?
What a strange question for a money web site...............
if it has diarrohia/vomiting, starve it for a day then start it on chicken and rice for a couple days while slowly putting it back on its food. if it worsens or you have further concerns contact a vet.
If the dog is young or old and this is the first time it has happened take it to the vet.
For me this is a fairly regular occurrence so I starve her for 24 hours, give a dose of vet supplied kaolin preparation and off we go again for a few weeks.
