i bought a gorgeous evening gown for around £200 but then realised i had no where to wear it to really
I once bout a louis vouton bag it was not cheap cos i paid so much for it i did not use it incase i lost it or it got a mark on it so i defo regret it
The list would be too big, but just to name but a few it would be a sports jacket, a pair of boots, a summer jacket, and the list goes on and on.
I learned from my mistakes though, and now unless I need something, I have clothes to wear it with and I know I will use it regularly I won't buy it.
i will try to follow your example and learn to resist
I'm trying, I'm trying. One purchase online only this week which is a miracle
Now, I didn't say that I apply the same principles to my online purchases, did I? :)
i am even worse online than in shops
Yeah, exactly! Same here, it is like I don't really think of the price that much online and everything seems a bargain to me ;)
There's been a few drunken eBay purchases but luckily nothing too expensive (it's been close though!).
Ah there's a tip there. Don't shop when you are drunk! Or depressed!
i totally agree with that pmscot93
I bought a couple of original paintings and regretted spending that amount of money immediately. However, when I hung them on my walls I really like them - they may even increase in value over a period of a few years (fingers crossed)
Exactly, that is not money wasted, it could be an investment!
well that is lucky
Sounds like a good purchase in the end
If you like them it's not a bad purchase.
My boyfriend spent £100 on a hideous picture of a tiger and hung it on our living room wall ... I am regretting his purchase and trying to plot a way to get rid of it!
lol that is funny (although not for you)
I can't think of any really expensive purchases that I have made that I have immediately regretted. I think if I had I would probably just take it back and get a refund!
yes i know what you mean i was kind of meaning you couldn't return it
Me too
You had the gown - just make the occasion!
Sound advice! no better excuse to go out ever needed.
oh i will go out in it one day i am determined am trying to convince my partner to take me to the theatre to see les mis
I think any thing you by on a wim, you always wonder if thats was the right thing to do. If you have enjoy, unless you broken the bank and you could'nt afford it
I once bought a car then it broke down on my way home, not my best purchase ever.....doh!
My mobile phone. I didn't insure my first one which cost £200, and low and behold, it broke, so i went and bought another one from the shop for another £200. I've never spent so much money and been so depressed about it!!
